MOEVENPICK HOTEL LAUSANNE, Lausanne – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is situated across from beautiful Lake Geneva, offering a great view. The rooms, although smaller and lacking a nice view, are clean and suitable for a family stay. The service, while disinterested at times, provides essential amenities. The location could not be better, bustling with people and close to various attractions. The dining experience requires an additional charge but offers homemade bread. Overall, the hotel provides a mixed experience with both positive and negative aspects.

My stay at the Moevenpick hotel Lausanne was comfortable and convenient. The rooms were lacking a view but featured useful amenities like an ironing board, iron, and coffee machine, making working in the room enjoyable with a king bed. The service, although a bit unfriendly at times, was helpful overall. The location was superb with stunning views of the lake and mountains, next to public transport options for easy exploration. The dining experience was good with a variety of options. The facilities were convenient.

The hotel room I stayed in was not what I expected. It seemed like it was an adjacent room, possibly intended for families but not suitable for individual bookings like mine. The room had outdated beds and pillows, and to top it off, the carpet was soaked in the entrance area, making my stay quite uncomfortable.
